How to analyze and judge the common faults in wiring harness processing

Harness treatment: the rule of harness burning is: in the power system circuit, the harness will burn no matter where it is grounded, and the junction of the burned part and the intact part can be considered as the grounding part of the harness. If the wiring harness burns the wiring part of the electrical equipment, it indicates that the electrical equipment is faulty.

1. The battery wire is burnt out (1) if only part of the battery wire is burnt out, check the part in contact with the burnt out cable, and replace the battery wire after deburring. ② If all the battery wires are burnt out, the starter is faulty. Connect the test lamp between the positive pole of starter electromagnetic switch and the positive pole of battery. If the test light is on, there is a fault in the electromagnetic switch; if the pin pin test light of the die is not on, there is a fault in the starter.

2. The harness between generator positive pole and starter battery terminal burned out the flameout generator. Remove the generator + pole lead. A power line is connected between the battery + pole and the other end is in contact with the generator + pole. If there is a spark, it means that the generator is faulty; if there is no spark, it means that there is a problem with the wiring harness.

3. The wire harness and relay lead are burnt out. ① Turn off the power switch, remove the relay and let it hang. The pin and bus manufacturer connects the test lamp between the relay housing and the vehicle body. If the light is on, the relay is faulty; if the light is not on, please perform the following steps. ② Turn on the power switch. If the test light does not light up, it means that the relay has no fault, just replace the harness. If the test light indicates that the relay is faulty, replace the relay.

The material requirements of wiring harness are also very strict

Wiring harness, including its electrical performance, material emission, temperature resistance, etc. It is higher than the general wiring harness requirements, especially when it comes to safety: the wiring harness of important components such as direction control system and brake requires more strict wiring harness treatment.
